Claire, a very intelligent 16 year old, just started her first semester at a local college. She was pushed down the stairs and threatened by the rich popular girl so she finds Glass house to live in instead of at the dorms. While living there she finds that vampires exist and rule the town.

The story itself held my attention but some parts of it would never be true such as the popular girl controlling all the girls in the dorm and even hurting most of them. Also, Claire has protection of her roommates but refuses it saying she is not afraid, but everytime she comes in contact with someone scary, she cries and hopes someone will save her instead of fighting herself. Seems kind of contradictory to me.
